Revit Coordinator

OHM Advisors is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Revit professional for immediate employment. This is a great opportunity for a talented, confident individual that is seeking an opportunity to actively participate in process development and implementation with a minor role in production. The Ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of professional experience and possess the ability to think strategically, anticipate where the profession is going in the future and provide BIM guidance.

The individual will be able to lead the BIM Revit standards and implementation for the firm and support the efforts within our Architectural, MEP, structural and facilities groups in Revit. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an established career in Architecture or MEP with expertise in Revit software. Primary responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Training employees in all disciplines on the use of Revit.
  • Coordinate standards and family generation for all Revit products (MEP/Structural/Architectural/Facilities).
  • Collaborator-works well in group settings and processes ideas from multi-faceted angles with the ability to bring them together in a cohesive role.
  • Develop, document and implement standard operating procedures and best practices for Revit across all offices.
  • Research new versions of Revit and new technologies that interact with Revit.
  • Identify trends and business opportunities relating to BIM and make recommendations regarding BIM software.
  • Work closely with IT and Cadd Director to create and deploy new versions of Revit.
  • Work closely with the Cadd Director to coordinate the appearance of plans between disciplines.
  • Occasional travel to other OHM offices.
  • Assist in production and model creation when needed.

What you need to be successful:

  • Minimum of five years of experience with B.I.M management required, including an in-depth working knowledge of current Revit versions.
  • Minimum of five years of production experience in design, drafting or engineering.
  • Architecture and Engineering industry experience required.
  • Must have expertise in the development of B.I.M. Execution Plans and Project Execution Plans.
  • Experience Revit, Revit family building and model management, Autocad experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines simultaneously required.
  • Proven ability to stay up to date on industry standards and projections
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills: both verbal & written skills are emphasized
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
