This position can be full time or part time with a minimum of 20 hours per week from September to December.

What You'll Contribute to OHM Advisors

An Intern in the Environmental and Water Resources Group will assist with drinking water, stormwater, and wastewater analysis and modeling projects. He/she will be involved in a variety of projects that include analysis of conveyance and treatment systems, asset management, capital planning, etc.

Your Responsibilities

  • Perform various water resources-related calculations and analyses using a variety of software tools.
  • Prepare contract drawings by drafting in AutoCAD and BIM platforms.
  • Organize information for use in reports, maps, presentations and other documents.
  • Assist with field and data collection activities like flow metering, hydrant testing, and condition assessment.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • At least three years of coursework towards a Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering or related field. A focus in water resources is preferred.
  • Familiarity working with GIS, AutoCAD, Revit, Matlab, hydrologic and hydraulic design programs, such as EPA-SWMM, H2O-Map, Infowater, HEC-HMS or HEC-RAS preferred.
  • Proficient in the use Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and organization skills with a positive attitude, and eagerness to learn.
