OHM Advisors is looking for a detailed oriented Construction / Field Administrative Assistant. We are currently located in the Cleveland and Brecksville (office will be relocating to the Akron area in early 2018) area. We are a community focused architecture, engineering and planning firm, looking for a highly organized and energetic individual to join our administrative team.

What You'll Contribute to OHM Advisors

The Construction / Field Administrative Assistant performs a full range of administrative support duties for the Construction Manager & Survey Manager. This individual must demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, time management, and work ethic. This individual needs must be able to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time. This individual must be able to work within a team and also independently with little supervision.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare bid packages for bidding construction projects.
  • Monitor projects during bidding to ensure bidders are receiving all necessary information.
  • Prepare bid tab, prepare contract documents & additional duties related to bidding projects.
  • Work with construction manager on a daily basis to monitor construction projects.
  • Schedule pre-con meetings, prepare resident notifications, prepare and file monthly pay requests, and process all documentation associated with requests.
  • Work with construction manager thoughout construction to handle any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor project status to be sure projects are closed out in a timely fashion.
  • Purchase supplies for construction inspectors, monitor inspector certifications and register for on-going training as needed.
  • Create processes to monitor projects, paperwork and on-going issues.
  • Work with survey department to order supplies as needed.
  • Work with survey department to develop office processes as needed.
  • Additional duties as requested.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Microsoft office excel and word a must.
  • Construction experience a plus.
  • Ability to work with all management levels.
